The title of Chris' thesis is 'Suffering and Theodicy in the Apocalypse: A Pentecostal Exploration', and the research explores suffering and theodicy in the Apocalypse by means of a Pentecostal reading strategy that employs Wirkungsgeschichte and narrative analysis. The implications that emerge from this exploration were used to make overtures toward the construction of a Pentecostal theology of suffering that is apropos for Pentecostal contexts.
