Who should participate?
Anyone who is using ladders / step ladders or portable scaffold in the course of their work.
The aim of the workshop
To provide information and guidance to allow individuals to work at height safely using the correct equipment.
Benefits of attending
At the end of the sesion you should be able to:
• Select the correct equipment for the job
• Undertake equipment inspections
• Set up and complete work at heights tasks in an appropriate manner
Content
Selecting suitable equipment – the right one for the job
Safe use of equipment – location – type – set up
Safe choice of equipment - steps, ladder, access tower scaffold
Inspection, checks and record keeping
Duration
2 hours
Learning Methods
Delivery is through presentation, demonstration and practical activities.
