Four leading health academics at 香港六合彩挂牌资料 are among the first to be appointed Senior Faculty members of Wales鈥 new National Institute for Social Care and Health Research (NISCHR). Their appointments were announced by Health Minister Mark Drakeford AM recently.
The 香港六合彩挂牌资料 Senior Faculty members are: Professor Linda Clare of the , a leading expert in Neuropsychology of memory and cognitive rehabilitation of memory disorders; Professor Rhiannon Tudor Edwards, a health economist who co-directs the University鈥檚 ; Professor Clare Wilkinson, who leads the , which concentrates on health sciences research in musculoskeletal disorders and cancer in relation to primary care; and Professor Bob Woods, an expert in the care of people with dementia at the University鈥檚 .

The National Institute for Social Care and Health Research (NISCHR) is the Welsh Government body that develops, in consultation with partners, strategy and policy for research in the NHS and social care in Wales. The organisation鈥檚 goal is to fund today's research that will inform tomorrow's care and improve the health and wealth of the people of Wales.
The NISCHR Faculty was formally launched in April 2013 during the NISCHR Conference at the Cardiff City Stadium. The NISCHR Faculty has been created to enhance collaboration, provide leadership and give H&SC researchers in Wales a sense of community that will further stimulate a thriving research culture in Wales.
