UKRI Future Leaders Fellowships: Open to external applicants
Background to the call
was recently announced by UKRI, with a deadline of 4th July 2023.
Future Leaders Fellowships look to support ambitious research or innovation across UKRI’s remit. They are personal awards to support fellows to develop as impactful and influential leaders in research or innovation who are either:
- looking to establish or transition to independence
- developing their own original and ambitious plans within a commercial setting.
There is no minimum or maximum award value, and the project can last up to four years, with the option to apply to renew for a further three years. The scheme aims to develop, retain, attract, and sustain research and innovation talent in the UK through funding individuals who can demonstrate the potential to become leading academics in their field.
