How has your career developed since graduating from Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆ×ÊÁÏ, and what is your current job role? (could you provide a brief list of notable positions)

During my MA I started working as a Marketing Assistant, hoping to learn and apply my knowledge to real life work. Very quickly into my assistant role I was given my own brand and portfolio to manage which really allowed me to test what I had learnt at my four years with Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆ×ÊÁÏ Business School. I believe if it was not for my fabulous tutors this would not have been possible. The knowledge I gained from the University has allowed me to climb the ladder far quicker than I imagined I would. After gaining experience at my current role, I am now moving on to work at Coleg Llandrillo Menai as a Marketing and Communications Officer.

Why did you choose to study at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆ×ÊÁÏ Business School?

Due to the Business School being highly recommended and one of the best business schools in the UK.

How has your degree and experiences at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆ×ÊÁÏ Business School influenced your career/life?

Not only has my experience at the school given me the knowledge as a base for my career, but it has sparked a confidence in me that I never thought I had. I now know I have what it takes to be a successful marketeer and have already started climbing my professional ladder. The last four years has set me up for a successful career and I cannot thank the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆ×ÊÁÏ Business School tutors/professors enough for the support they provided.

What advice would you give to students studying in the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆ×ÊÁÏ Business School? Ask for help if you need it.

Both the tutors/professors and Student Support services do everything they can to help when a student is struggling; whether it be personal or academic. During my first year I struggled to learn, and during my second year I was diagnosed with Dyslexia/Dyspraxia. The university ensured I received the support I needed to enable me to learn in a way that suited me. If it was not for the disability service and Business Schools amazing support, I would not have been able to learn as well as I did and leave university with a first-class undergrad and distinction in my masters. The support the university will give you, provided you ASK, is absolutely second to none.

What was the best thing about studying at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆ×ÊÁÏ Business School?

The best thing about studying at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆ×ÊÁÏ Business School was it has helped build confidence and belief in myself and allowed me to find my passion which is now my career.

In what ways did studying in the Business School enhance your employability?

I was given the knowledge to be able to apply to real life instances. Activities such as the University Business Challenge also helped build my confidence in applying myself.
