Studying and living at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆ×ÊÁÏ…
The location was one of the reasons I choose to study here. Having both the beaches and the mountains on your doorstep as well as, a close knit community and so many opportunities in terms of my course and societies to join, I didn't hesitate to choose Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆ×ÊÁÏ!
I love the fact it’s not too small but not big enough to get lost, especially when you're from a small village back home. It was almost like home, just with mountains and the beach either side and for an outdoor education student, what more could you want?!
The course…
The outdoor practical days have given me opportunities I would have never have got at any other university; I've been sea & white water kayaking, coasteering, rock climbing and gorge walking.
The Academic School…
There's an open door policy meaning support is always there for when you need it, all you need to do is ask. They're all so friendly and welcoming, it's not like a teacher-pupil relationship in school - you get treated like adults.
³§³Ü±è±è´Ç°ù³Ù…
Most definitely, both my personal tutor and senior tutor of the School have helped me through difficult times as well as the mental health team and disability services. They've made my experience here more enjoyable as I am able to go about my studies in my own way
Clubs & Societies...
I'm an avid member of the Women's Rugby Union Club. The experience has been amazing, I've tried a new sport, met so many new friends and had a blast both on and off the pitch.
Living in Halls…
I lived in halls for my first and second year, it was nice and easy. I chose who I wanted to live with in second year, which was great. Having the gym and laundry on site made it very convenient as well as Bar Uno as socials started there.
Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆ×ÊÁÏ Employability Award…
Yes, I am completing modules at the moment. I have done a few courses, been on the committee of trampolining and have a part-time job. I enjoyed having to work on besides my degree and know that it comes additionally which employers will look into.
