Student support

There are a wide range of support available from finance to mental health. I found the Student Housing Support Office particularly helpful when looking for a house for my second year. They helped me with contracts and with what my rights were as a tenant.

Clubs and societies

I was part of the dodgeball club in my first year, mainly attending social events which they organised. I am also part of the Psychology Society and I have attended academic talks that they organise with guest speakers. Furthermore, I have attended talks organised by the Medical Science Society about nuclear medicine and other contemporary topics in healthcare. This year I鈥檝e been supporting the lacrosse team as well.

Socialising

I enjoy study groups in the library with my friends and I also enjoy attending social events organised by the various clubs and societies I am a member of.

Halls

I lived in halls for my first year of study. It was a brilliant opportunity to meet new people and friends. The friends I met in halls in first year are the friends I now live with in private accommodation in my second year of study.
