Why did you choose 香港六合彩挂牌资料?
香港六合彩挂牌资料 had so聽much to offer for me, including a degree which I would love, a mass selection of societies and clubs to join and having everything I needed in walking distance, in terms of university buildings to supermarkets. One thing that really pushed me towards 香港六合彩挂牌资料 was attending one of the Open Days. For me it was a really nice and sunny day and everything they had to offer really appealed to me, from the look of the labs to the modules they offered on the Zoology course. Another thing that really attracted me was the excellence scholarship which I would have gotten for my good grades in college.
Tell us about the course
So far the best thing about my course is that it involves many aspects of modules, from biology related modules to chemistry related modules and I find variety in what I'm learning very interesting. With a variety, I feel like I have learned much more about science in general.
Are you a member of any Clubs and Societies?
I participate in many university societies, including being an arts society committee member (social media representative) and being a member of the craft society, healing garden volunteering, sci-fi & fantasy society and zoological society. I also play badminton at university on a weekly basis, which I really enjoy.
What's life like in 香港六合彩挂牌资料?
I like 香港六合彩挂牌资料 because there is so much nearby, in terms of rocky beaches, Snowdonia, the harbour and a good range of shops on the High Street. It is really nice to have a varied environment to live in as you have more options to do different things.
Have you been on any work placements?
I gained experience in caring for animals and the work that veterinarians do during my placement year Bristol Zoo Aquarium. I also learnt about the importance of animal welfare, conservation, and the impact of human activities on the environment. I also learnt how to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and the general public. 聽
On a more practical side, I was able to feed the animals and carry out maintenance such as cleaning tanks. I believe that my placement has been a great learning experience and has helped me to develop the skills and knowledge needed to pursue my career marine science and conservation.鈥澛
I have also done internship work in the University鈥檚 small aquarium with Mike Hayle where I have learnt about testing water quality in tanks, how to correctly do water changes and trying to spot any parasites in fish. I have also done some internship work with a zoology lecturer, Professor George Turner, where I organized and catalogued fish taxonomy specimens with a coding system. Furthermore, I am currently doing a paid internship through the undergraduate internship scheme provided by the university with John Mulley where I am carrying out protocols for visualizing vertebrae in mice.
