Nia is module organiser and lecturer on several of the Welsh-medium undergraduate modules, delivering both formal lectures and small group/practical sessions through the medium of Welsh and bilingually. Nia teaches research methods and statistics in the second year for our BPS accredited courses, as well as a specialist third year module looking at early development, adversity during childhood and the crucial role played by parents and caregivers in child development and wellbeing. Recent undergraduate research projects have explored self-reported adverse childhood experiences in the student population and their relationship with wellbeing, anxiety, depression, aggression, executive functioning deficits as well as some protective factors such as social support.
