Welsh Language Standards

The Welsh Language Standards are a set of 182 declarations about how the University must operate in relation to the Welsh Language. They are set out in the Compliance Notice that was sent to the University by Welsh Language Commissioner in accordance with the Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 2011. These are the applicable to HE and FE institutions.

The 182 declarations describe the minimum 鈥榮tandards鈥� the University must attain in using Welsh in its day to day work. Our compliance with the Welsh Language Standards is monitored by the Welsh Language Commissioner.
